Hessische Theaterakademie
All universities offering professional theatre education in Hessen as well as the Hessian State Theatres, all municipal theatres and some theatres from Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate are joined in the Hessian Theatre Academy HTA. Various collaborations between the performing art fields open up new possibilities for students to prepare for the complexity of their future career. The Academy embodies a center for advanced training for theatre professionals in the artistic, technical and organizational sectors in the form of symposia and summer courses. From 2006 until 2018 Heiner Goebbels was the president of the HTA.
