Landschaft mit entfernten Verwandten

The new music theatre project by Heiner Goebbels with the Ensemble Modern, his first opera Landschaft mit entfernten Verwandten / Paysage avec parents éloignés / Landscape with distant relatives has opened on October 16 2002 at the Opera Geneve and had a total of ten successful performances (Batiment des forces motrices, Geneve). In the beginnig of 2003 a number of performances at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam and at the Co-Producer's venues will follow: the german premiere in Berlin, the french premiere in Mulhouse and the Austrian Premiere in St.Pölten.
