Composer-in-residence at the Lucerne Festival

In Summer 2003 Heiner Goebbels was composer-in-residence at the Lucerne Festival. During this festival there were presentations of Schwarz auf Weiss, a portrait-concert with ensemble compositions, Surrogate Cities with the Berlin Philharmonics (conductor: Sir Simon Rattle) and lectures and discussions on his work. A new book with texts from and about Heiner Goebbels was published in this context at the Lucerne Festival - see portraits, writings and interviews, and especially the texts from a new interview in the WoZ by Patrik Landolt and a portrait from the magazine Musik&Theater.
