The Italian Concerto

In the fall 2005 the ambitious Angelica Festival in Bologna has organised a number of orchestra and ensemble concerts presenting the compositional work of Heiner Goebbels in northern Italy (Bologna, Modena, Reggio Emilia). Three of the orchestra recordings (Ou bien Sunyatta, Die Faust im Wappen, So that the blood dropped from the Earth) have just been released by I dischi di angelica together with a rare improvisation by Heiner Goebbels (piano) with Chris Cutler (percussion, electronics), which took place in that festival - called "The Italian Concerto".
